Item: Vintage Queen Size Bed by Leonards New England Furniture.

Beautiful Tulip poster bed by high end furniture company, Leonards New England Furniture. This lovely tulip poster bed is based off an antique bed from Pennsylvania.
Tulip Poster Bed
This lovely Tulip poster bed has a very beautiful Colonial design. It features a nice sturdy headboard with thick posts and lovely turned “tulips” on each post. Additionally, this bed has a really nice footboard with Quilt rail and slightly lower posts.
Of course, this high end reproduction bed is great because it accommodates a Queen size mattress, while still giving a beautiful early 19th century look. The bed is also beautifully made, with a nice warm finish.
Structurally, it is also a wonderful choice, because it has a bolt-through rail system, which creates a sturdy frame. It has nice iron “L-brackets” that support the foundation. There is also an option to have a split Queen boxspring with additional support in the middle.

I believe this Leonards New England Furniture bed is in maple or cherry wood. Of course, you can still order this lovely model of bed today from their Massachussetts factories! The company makes beautiful reproductions and outstanding modified beds with old bed posts.
