Elegant antique French Neoclassical-style armchair crafted from dark mahogany, featuring a beautifully carved crest with floral and scrolling motifs, a graceful curved back, sweeping arms, and slender fluted legs. The chair is upholstered in traditional hand-worked floral needlepoint with colorful roses and flowers against a rich dark brown ground, finished with decorative nailhead trim.

Condition:
Good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. The mahogany frame shows surface scratches, finish wear, scuffs, and areas of patina throughout. There is visible wear/loss to the round decorative medallions at the upper sides of the backrest, as pictured. Needlepoint upholstery remains attractive with age-related wear. Structurally solid and presents beautifully in its original aged condition.
