Exude 1980s Postmodern elegance with this striking, matching pair of vintage Shell Grotto style table lamps manufactured by the celebrated Novelty Crystal Corporation.
Embodying the whimsical structural drama of the Coastal Grotto aesthetic, each lamp features a masterfully sculpted, heavy molded glass body detailed with a swirling, draped line and ribbed fan/seashell motif.
The soft cream-ivory frosted glass filters light beautifully, radiating an incredibly warm, atmospheric glow.
Both lamps feature fully functional 3-way lighting switches, offering adjustable ambiance from a subtle low glow to brilliant task lighting (when paired with standard 3-way bulbs).
The sculptural shell bodies sit seamlessly on thick, clear crescent-shaped Lucite (acrylic) pedestal bases proudly bearing the manufacturer's stamp.
Designed to look substantially heavy while utilizing a lightweight, practical construction, each lamp weighs a nimble 2.85 lbs.
