Offered is a black and white glazed red clay terracotta decorative cat figurine depicting a village gathering - possibly a rodeo or bullfight - as well as a sunrise over the mountains on the chest. It was made in Zihuatanejo, Mexico, a region renowned for its unique Barro Rojo (red clay) pottery. that is often created by the women of the community who hand-mold the pieces and paint them intricately.
