This mid-20th-century Turkish Anatolian long runner presents six elongated floral medallions arranged along a pale celadon-grey field. Each pendant-shaped motif is drawn in ivory, muted brown, soft blush, lavender, and touches of ochre, with delicate palmettes and small blossoms radiating around the central axis. Fine flowering vines connect the principal forms and create a graceful, continuous rhythm throughout the exceptional length. A narrow reciprocal guard frames the field, followed by a broad pale rose border filled with scrolling leaves, stylized flowers, and compact botanical devices. Slim golden and ivory outer bands complete the composition with definition. The restrained palette softens the intricate ornament and gives the runner a refined, almost ethereal presence. Rooted in Anatolian weaving traditions, its disciplined symmetry, elongated proportions, and classical floral vocabulary create an elegant decorative foundation with subtle color, architectural continuity, and understated sophistication for traditional or contemporary interiors.
