A graceful French Provincial dining set centered on a large oval table with a rich, warmly figured wood top featuring radial book-matched veneers and central burl medallions. The top sits on a soft cream-painted base with a gently serpentine apron and elegant cabriole legs detailed with carved leaf-like motifs at the knees and ball feet. The table is extendable (metal slides visible underneath).
The paper tag has been lost, and its manufacturer cannot be readily confirmed.
The set includes eight matching chairs:
Six side chairs with tall oval cane backs, carved crest rails, and cabriole legs in the same cream painted finish.
Two host/armchairs fully upholstered in a refined diamond (harlequin) patterned fabric in cream and soft gold tones, finished with tailored skirts.
The contrast between the glowing wood top and the light painted frames creates a classic Country French / Louis XV Revival look that feels both formal and approachable. Ideal for a traditional or transitional dining room.

Table top retains a glossy finish with light surface scratches, some minor dulling, and small marks consistent with normal dining use. The figured grain and burl centers remain highly attractive. Painted finishes show gentle distressing, light edge wear, and minor age-related character that enhances the French Provincial aesthetic. Cane backs are intact and sound. Upholstery is clean and well-preserved with no major stains or tears visible. Ready for immediate use; a light polish or professional touch-up would make it shine even more. less
