Charming set of four decorative animal engravings each beautifully presented in an elaborate dark mahogany wood frame with layered gilding and gilded mattes. The set features an elephant, camel, giraffe, and zebra rendered in a softly colored natural-history style and surrounded by generous cream matting.
The combination of richly finished frames and botanical-naturalist imagery gives these pieces an elegant English country, traditional, or collected-over-time aesthetic. Perfect displayed together as a gallery arrangement in a library, study, hallway, bedroom, or living room.
Original framers tag from Trowbridge Gallery Chelsea London on the reverse of each. Trowbridge Gallery was founded in 1981 by Martin Trowbridge and was known for their high quality bespoke framing of original 17th-19th century artwork.
