Vintage Pair Harris Marcus Italian Double Cane Arm Chairs French Country Carved Accent Chairs Late 20th Century matching pair of vintage French Provincial style cane-back armchairs featuring a natural wood finish. These chairs are designed in the Louis XV style (Rococo), characterized by their fluid, asymmetrical organic forms and absence of straight lines. The frames are built in Italy and have contoured cabriole legs, scalloped aprons, and subtly carved floral and leaf motifs along the top crest and front rail and knees. Woven natural caning on both the backrests and seats provide a light airy feel. Rustic yet elegant French Country aesthetic
