Each compartment is defined by a sharply pointed arch outlined with narrow black, ivory, and golden bands, creating a measured architectural rhythm along the exceptional length. The triangular spandrels between the niches are filled with stylized blossoms in pale gold, lending delicate ornament to the otherwise restrained composition. A slim reciprocal guard frames the perimeter, while the uninterrupted red ground gives the design strong graphic unity and ceremonial presence. The repeated niches recall the traditional saf format associated with communal prayer rugs, interpreted here with unusual simplicity and modern clarity. Its limited palette, disciplined repetition, and monumental proportions create a powerful visual statement, balancing devotional symbolism with abstract geometry. The result is a commanding textile with refined color, rhythm, and unmistakable Anatolian character.
