This mid-20th-century Turkish Anatolian tribal runner presents four large, vertically aligned medallions across a saturated coral-red field. Alternating dark brown and golden ochre grounds give the compartments a measured rhythm, while pale blue-grey outlines sharpen their stepped, hooked contours. Each medallion centers a quartered diamond in mint green, red, black, and ivory, surrounded by compact interlocking devices rendered in white, brown, orange, and teal. Narrow checkerboard guards frame the field, and striped kilim-style finishes at both ends provide a strong horizontal counterpoint. The bold geometry, limited palette, and generous spacing reflect the direct visual language of Anatolian village weaving, while subtle variations in color and drawing preserve its handmade character. Its long format allows the repeated motifs to unfold with architectural clarity, creating a distinctive decorative foundation for interiors that favor tribal abstraction, saturated color, and strong graphic order, with warmth and visual momentum.
