A Federal period Trumeau mirror, circa 1820. The tall rectangular mirror is framed with a turned beveled wood trim in black, finished with brass rosettes on square corners. The top panel is reverse-painted with a simple scene depicting a house on a hill with a moody sky and birds taking flight, surrounded by red swag.
