Handcrafted by esteemed American leather-furniture maker Hancock & Moore, this spectacular sofa is upholstered from top to bottom in rich emerald-green leather. Deep diamond tufting extends across the back, rolled arms and bench seat, creating the beautifully sculptural surface for which traditional Chesterfields are celebrated.
Antique-brass nailhead trim outlines the rolled arms and lower frame, while short turned wooden feet provide a handsome finishing detail. The fully upholstered back allows the sofa to float freely within a room rather than being relegated to a wall.
The saturated green leather is the star: traditional enough for an English library but dramatic enough for an eclectic, contemporary or maximalist interior. It would be equally marvelous in a living room, gentleman’s study, hotel lobby or stylish office.
