An authentic early 20th Century Chinese porcelain lidded warming pot featuring a hand-painted Famille Rose scene of figures under a plantain tree on one side and traditional poetic calligraphy on the reverse. The pot features dual metal swing handles, gilded highlights along the rim and handle mounts, and a pale celadon-glazed interior and base. The underside includes a red seal mark and an antique export wax seal. Accompanied by original Beijing Cultural Relics store invoice/documentation, as pictured.
Size approximations: 8 inches tall x 8 inches diameter at widest; diameter of the mouth is 6 3/4 inches. Please also see photos for size (note any coin, ruler and/ or pop can used to illustrate size are not included in the sale).

The lid has a small flea-bite chip along the outer rim edge, as pictured. The interior and underside show minor discoloration along the unglazed rim and base rings, as pictured. Metal handles exhibit minor patina, and the original red wax export seal remains partially intact on the bottom alongside the stamped red seal, as pictured. In consideration of any purchase it is recommended that the zoom tool be used to thoroughly inspect all the photos. Sold as preowned and as pictured. No box. No COA. less
