A striking mid-century table lamp by Frederick Cooper of Chicago, one of the most respected names in American decorative lighting. The bulbous body features a bold hand-finished concentric ribbed pattern, in rich olive-bronze tones fading into a warm gold shoulder — a strong sculptural piece that reads as much like art as lighting.
The main body is metal (possibly aluminum or brass) with a hand-applied glazed finish (not ceramic, despite similar-looking pieces ). It sits on a dark wood-tone base.
