Gilbert Marklund (1926–1981) was a Swedish architect and furniture designer. He became known in the 1960s and 1970s for his brutalist designs for the manufacturer Furusnickarn AB. His distinctive chairs and stools are made of solid pine and combine rustic solidity with minimalist, geometric forms. Today, they are sought-after classics of Scandinavian mid-century design.
