The Auronde by Auping is a Dutch design classic, designed by Frans de la Haye in 1973. Its distinctive, low, two-part headboard and integrated shelves on both sides continue to define its unmistakable, minimalist design. The light white and beige wood finish gives the bed a timeless yet inviting look. Made of sturdy beechwood, the Auronde is designed as a split double bed: the two sides can be easily separated at the foot end, while the connecting system at the headboard keeps them securely together. This makes the bed particularly practical, for example, when you need to clean underneath. Design: Frans de la Haye for Auping, 1973. Manual function: Split bed frame (detachable at the foot end). Material: Beechwood, white/beige. Includes shelves/nightstands. Note: The manual function only works on the right side. The side tables are movable.
