An exceptional original Art Deco table lamp, model “Lueur Lumineuse,” designed by Max Le Verrier and dating from circa 1930. The model is documented by the Max Le Verrier foundry and is known as the smaller version within the celebrated Clarté family of illuminated sculptures.
The elegant female figure is captured in a dramatic, sculptural pose, balancing a frosted glass globe in her outstretched hand. Finished with the characteristic deep green patina associated with Max Le Verrier's work, the figure is mounted on a stepped marble base.
This is a genuine antique period example from circa 1930 and not a modern or posthumous reproduction. An important distinction, as the Lueur Lumineuse model has also been produced in later editions.
Slight traces of use on the marble base. This piece has an attribution mark,
