Yngvor Blomström for Tilgmans Wall plaque, 1950/60s. Decorative ceramic wall plaque hand-painted in the characteristic style of Yngvor Blomström for Tilgmans, Gothenburg. The motif depicts a stylised female figure with bold graphic lines and colourful details, typical of Tilgmans’ modern aesthetic of the period. Signed. Origin: Sweden. Material: Ceramic. Dimensions: H. 48 cm, W. 18 cm. Period: 1950/60s. Condition: Very good condition with minimal signs of use. Tilgmans Keramik (established in the 1940s in Gothenburg) became known for its hand-painted decorative works, often featuring strong graphic expressions and figurative motifs.
