Crafted in France circa 1970, the piece is veneered in beautifully figured burl elm, showcasing dramatic swirling grain, distinctive burl eyes, and warm golden honey tones beneath a lustrous lacquered finish.

The rectangular top is supported by an eye-catching pedestal base composed of four gracefully curved panels that intersect to create a refined hourglass silhouette. Resting on a molded plinth base, the sculptural form provides exceptional stability while lending the console a light, architectural presence.
