The piece features a broad, gently shaped façade with richly figured walnut veneer and a substantial black marble top measuring 1 1/8 inches thick, dramatically veined in white. The façade is centered by a glass display door framed in polished metal. The display compartment is fitted with a glass shelf and a newly replaced mirrored bottom, adding depth and reflection to the interior. On either side are spacious enclosed cabinets with interior shelving, while two drawers are incorporated along the upper section. The cabinet doors are fitted with marble knobs that echo the black-and-white veining of the marble top, complemented by polished metal escutcheons. The sculptural base features curved supports rising above a long plinth, while the shaped marble top follows the contours of the case and emphasizes the sideboard’s architectural Art Deco silhouette. The sideboard has been professionally refinished and repaired while retaining its original character. The black marble top shows evidence of an earlier repair consistent with age and use. No keys are present for the cabinet doors. The central glass door retains its decorative key.
