The cabinet has a clean, low profile with two sliding teak doors and long recessed pulls set directly into the face. A slightly raised outer frame gives the piece depth without making it feel heavy, while tapered legs keep the overall form light and well proportioned.
The teak has a warm, deep tone with visible grain throughout, giving the simple geometry of the cabinet plenty of character. Its smaller scale makes it especially useful where a full length credenza would be too large, while still offering practical enclosed storage.
A good example of Danish modern casework from the period, with thoughtful proportions, restrained detailing, and a form that works easily in a dining room, living room, office, or entry.
