Madsens for John Stuart c, 1950s. Attributed to Borge Mogensen by some but more likley designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen, as the seat and frame are essentially the same as another side chair they designed for Madsens (shown in last photo). The design is also very similar to their "Portex" chairs of the 1940's. Recently deep-cleaned and finished with teak oil to highlight the beautiful wood grain. Marked on underside with C.M. Madsens for John Stuart stamp. See less
