After earning degrees in Fine Art and Marketing, Galloway worked in public relations for a decade, starting as a reporter for CBS News and later managing PR at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. Her time in these roles deepened her love for wild animals and inspired her to incorporate them into her art. The unique blend of animals and food in her work was inspired by her daughter’s childhood habit of placing food on her head like a crown.

Galloway’s art brings joy and nostalgia, often adding humor to collections with her culinary animal portraits. She frequently exhibits in major cities like New York, London, Miami, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
