An authentic and highly collectible early 20th-century Art Nouveau majolica pottery pedestal column manufactured by the historic Brush-McCoy Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. Produced circa 1915, this antique display stand features the company's striking "Amaryllis" relief pattern. The baluster-form body is heavily embossed with stylized, upward-reaching amaryllis leaves that flare into bulbous organic forms around the collar.
The piece showcases Brush-McCoy’s signature glossy blended glaze technique, seamlessly transitioning from a rich, dripping forest green at the capital into a deep, earthy chocolate-brown and eggplant glaze across the fluted center and decorative base. The lower plinth features two distinct tiers of embossed repeating geometric rings and medallions. Formed from heavy earthenware, this architectural pedestal is designed to beautifully elevate a matching period jardinière, sculpture, or fine art glass vase. No makers mark
