A pair of miniature paintings by Seattle artist Ree Brown. Featuring wheelbarrows with potted flowers, these would be lovely matted in a bright color and framed together (or separately). Done of the backs of pieces from a promotional notebook cover.
Ree Brown was an entirely self-taught artist who did not begin drawing and painting until the mid-1970s. He is highly recognized for his intimate, small-scale portraits of "no one in particular," alongside his iconic paintings of cats, dogs, and birds. His work is celebrated in prominent collections of 20th-century American folk and outsider art.
