A well-constructed antique walnut document or storage box with dovetailed case construction, a molded lid, and original iron side handles. Retains its original lock mechanism.
Dimensions: 20¼"W x 15¼"D x 14"H
Condition: Use and wear marks/stains consistent with age. The lid does not close fully flush, as the lock bit no longer fully engages the strike plate — likely due to minor shrinkage of the top board over time. There is no key present. The lock can be easily removed (4 screws) to allow the lid to close flat, if a working lock isn't a priority for the buyer.
