The generously proportioned rectangular top is framed by a softly molded serpentine edge and rests above an exquisitely carved apron adorned with flowing floral motifs. Graceful cabriole legs complete the design, lending the table a light, sculptural appearance despite its generous scale.
Finished in a warm walnut tone with carefully hand-distressed cream highlighting along the moldings and carvings, the table possesses the mellow character of an antique while offering the durability and quality of late 20th-century craftsmanship. The subtle distressing beautifully defines every carved detail and gives the piece the collected feel so sought after by today's designers.
At nearly five feet long, this table offers exceptional surface space for books, sculpture, floral arrangements, or entertaining while remaining visually elegant from every angle. It blends effortlessly with French Country, Italian Villa, Traditional, Mediterranean, Transitional, Hollywood Regency, and even contemporary interiors where a single classic statement piece creates welcome contrast.
A sophisticated centerpiece that is both highly functional and exceptionally decorative.
