A striking limited-edition work by Texas photographic artist Jamie Rood, titled “VW Bus Baby Blue – Travel Spirit.” Created in Austin in 2014, the composition centers on a weathered blue Volkswagen bus layered with American flag imagery, a mountain landscape, and distinctly Texas details.
Rood is known for combining his original photography with multiple exposures, HDR techniques, and digital manipulation to create richly atmospheric images that sit somewhere between photography and contemporary mixed-media art.
This example is number 15 of an edition of 350 printed on fine art paper. It is signed by the artist at the lower right and retains its original signed Certificate of Authenticity, which documents the title, creation date, Austin location, edition number, and use of archival materials.
