Pair of lovely watercolor paintings of girls playing by Seattle artist Ree Brown. One is listening to music and the other has her hands on her hips.
Ree Brown was an entirely self-taught artist who did not begin drawing and painting until the mid-1970s. He is highly recognized for his intimate, small-scale portraits of "no one in particular," alongside his iconic paintings of cats, dogs, and birds. His work is celebrated in prominent collections of 20th-century American folk and outsider art.
