Awesome vintage and very heavy welded metal steam locomotive sculpture mounted on its own section of railroad track, complete with a signal or semaphore-style feature at one end. Constructed from scrap steel and found industrial components, this piece has a wonderful folk art aesthetic.
The locomotive features a cylindrical boiler, smokestack, cowcatcher, wheels, fenders, and even a small hanging bell beneath the arch. The separate track and signal create an attractive self-contained display that looks great from any angle.
The original black-painted surface shows age, oxidation, rust, and wear that contribute to its authentic industrial character and patina. An excellent decorative piece for railroad enthusiasts, train collectors, folk art collectors, or anyone decorating in industrial, steampunk, rustic, or workshop-inspired interiors.
