This mid-20th-century Turkish Anatolian tribal runner presents a striking sequence of eight open rectangular compartments arranged along a warm taupe-brown field. Each enclosure is outlined in mustard yellow and dark teal, with an inward-turning angular meander that gives the repeated forms a bold, architectural character. The disciplined central pattern is framed by narrow teal guard lines and broad dark brown side borders carrying continuous blush-pink zigzags, small crosses, and scattered geometric accents. A partial motif at one end introduces a subtle asymmetry to the otherwise measured vertical rhythm. The limited palette of brown, mustard, teal, pink, and soft beige creates a strong graphic effect while remaining grounded in Anatolian village weaving traditions. Its exceptional length and repeated geometry give the runner a commanding decorative presence, well suited to interiors that favor expressive folk design, linear structure, and warm earth tones with clarity and balance.
