This mid-20th-century Turkish Anatolian runner presents a commanding sequence of three large, stepped medallions arranged along a warm brick-red, rust, and soft brown field. Each medallion is articulated in pale blue, muted sage, blush pink, ivory, and dark brown, with compact diamond centers and angular hooked projections that create a strong architectural rhythm. Small pendant-like connectors link the principal forms along the central axis, while scattered rosettes and geometric fillers enrich the surrounding ground. A narrow border of repeating floral roundels in ivory, brown, coral, and blue frames the composition, complemented by a warm orange top guard with small blossoms. The layered palette and bold, village-drawn geometry give the runner a distinctive decorative presence rooted in Anatolian weaving traditions. Its generous length and balanced proportions allow the repeated medallions to establish visual continuity and structure within both traditional and contemporary interiors with quiet authority.
