This mid-20th-century Turkish Anatolian runner presents a restrained sequence of large geometric medallions arranged along a pale ivory and warm beige field. Broad angular forms with stepped outlines, elongated projections, and softly articulated diamond centers create a measured vertical rhythm across the narrow composition. Muted blush, taupe, sand, and light brown accents define the principal motifs, while smaller hooked devices and compact abstract ornaments appear between them. The open spacing allows each medallion to read clearly and gives the design a calm, architectural presence. Rather than relying on a prominent border, the rug emphasizes scale, symmetry, and the subtle contrast of closely related earth tones. Its simplified drawing reflects the expressive vocabulary of Anatolian village weaving while lending the piece a distinctly modern sensibility. Well suited to a hallway, gallery, bedroom passage, or beside a long console, it introduces warmth, structure, and visual continuity.
