Ramirez Jr., depicting a powerful black bull with white horns against a rich red and russet background. Executed in oil on board with expressive, textured brushwork and signed “Ramirez” at the lower left. The reverse retains remnants of an original paper label reading “Copyright by Henry…” along with the Ramirez name, providing additional attribution. Ramirez, a native of Buenos Aires, is known for traditional oil paintings encompassing landscapes, still lifes, architectural scenes, seascapes, and animal subjects. His documented works include small-format oils on hardboard, often signed at the lower left and presented in gilt wood frames—closely corresponding with this example.
