Wonderful trompe l'œil effect table, constructed in handwoven rattan. The internal structure is made of sturdy larger rattan members. The clever weaving on the table creates a Surrealist effect that mimics a softly undulating textile.

42" round glass top is included, but simply lifts easily off when not in use. The table functions as a center table with or without the glass; it would be spectacular in an entry hall with a large sculpture or display of weekly fresh flowers. It could be a breakfast table, or small dining table with the glass. Without the glass, it makes for an oversized occasional table. It would be a fun piece in a guest room with a large lamp, or in a conservatory for a few potted orchids.
