The styling is characteristic of the Mediterranean/Spanish Revival look that was especially popular during the 1970s. The small card that comes with the dresser is an interesting part of its history. It is an original Hooker Furniture Corporation insert titled “The ‘Fingerprints’ of Trees.” The card explains that natural differences in wood color, grain, and texture are part of the character of fine wood furniture.
