This is a vintage Andrea by Sadek porcelain lidded ginger jar in the Chinoiserie style featuring a hand-painted green lotus leaf and pink water lily design made in Japan.
It is hand-painted glazed porcelain crafted in Japan and features prominent green lily pads, stems, and delicate pink lotus flowers with geometric Greek key border accents.
The base displays the signature iron-red kanji markings identifying the mid-to-late 20th-century Japanese kiln production for the export line, complete with the standard handwritten cursive "Hand painted" script typical of the Sadek imports.
