A sculptural pair of vintage Indonesian terracotta vessels featuring handwoven rattan rims and looped lacing.
Each vessel has a softly irregular, organic silhouette and richly variegated earthen finish ranging from warm rust to deep brown. Handwoven rattan follows the undulating rims, creating a striking contrast between the smooth clay bodies and textural natural fiber.
Beautifully aged surfaces retain the marks and tonal variation of their history, lending the pair the character of collected objects rather than contemporary reproductions. Their complementary proportions make them especially compelling displayed together, while each has enough presence to stand alone.

The vessel is intact and displays beautifully, but due to the crack and the age of the piece, it is recommended for decorative use only. Small vessel: 11"H × 10"W × 7"D. Intact with light surface wear consistent with age. Both pieces show authentic patina—even wear, natural oxidation, and the lived quality that marks genuine mid-century craft. Sold as a pair. less
