Seller's Note - Logistics:

The artist is Juan Soriano (August 18, 1920 - February 10, 2006), born Juan Francisco Rodriguez Montoya.
This is an original, mid-century modernist graphic work,. It is hand-signed and dated in cursive as "j soriano '62" in the lower right margin, and Roman Numeral deluxe limited edition designation "II/VIII" in the lower left.
Provenance/Authenticity:
1. Seller has the Certificate of Authenticity and the original purchase Receipt stamped and signed by the gallery, dated July 7, 1976, from Galeria De Arte Mexicano, S. DE R. L.
2. The gallery receipt identifies the artwork as: Litografia original de Juan Soriano titulada "la lechuza"
3. Single family ownership - in the family's private collection since the 1976 acquisition by the Seller's father - Seller inherited the artwork.
The artwork is executed in bold, high-contrast, black and off-white abstract style, and is considered a collector-grade statement piece.
