A rare Desvres French faience chocolate pot with lid in the style of Porquier Beau Quimper. It features a hand painted Breton with his walking stick, blue and green decor riche around the neck, a two-toned gold fleur de lys, ermine tails, and the Bretagne coat of arms. The scroll form handle is accented with yellow and dark blue borders tied together with a spine of burnt orange lineal brush strokes. Marked on the bottom 7/1697. Late 19th century, and likely
