Unique 1980s studio pottery ashtray by Ellen Weinstein, handcrafted in an organic oval form with a raised sculptural center featuring multiple cigarette rests. Finished in a rich green glaze with hand-decorated geometric stripes in turquoise blue, cream, and dark charcoal tones. The irregular hand-built form, textured detailing, and expressive glaze give the piece a distinctive Postmodern folk-art character. Incised “Ellen Weinstein” on the underside.
