Authentic vintage Southwest Native American stone sculpture hand-carved in 1992 by respected Navajo (Diné) artisan Michael J. Chee. This beautiful, collectible fine art piece depicts a stoic indigenous figure elegantly wrapped in a textured, robed blanket.
Expertly crafted from natural multi-tonal alabaster stone, the sculpture showcases a striking contrast between the smooth, polished facial features and the detailed, hand-tooled textures of the hair, central patterned breastplate, and stylized circular star medallions on the lower robe.
Perfect for collectors of authentic indigenous folk art or rustic Southwestern home decor. Signed and dated by the artist ("MJ Chee '92") on the stone. Excellent vintage condition with beautiful natural variegation.
