Dating to the mid-to-late 20th century (circa 1970s), these Hollywood Regency/Boho Chic style pieces are crafted from heavy cast brass with an applied dark faux-bronze patina. They feature beautiful, stylized historic detailing, including ornate high-pommel saddles, pleated saddle blankets, and hanging decorative tassel/leaf motifs along the flank straps.
The warm, golden brass undertones catch the light beautifully where the dark patina naturally highlights the musculature. This is a substantial, decorator-grade set perfect for an entryway console, deep mantle, or library shelving.
Condition Report
Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful, aged patina. No heavy pitting, structural damage, or green oxidation. There is minor, honest surface wear and light scratching on the flat, unmarked undersides of the hooves from display, which confirms the solid brass composition beneath the finish.
