Offered is a studio-made wood tabletop lectern or book stand. It's very clean-lined in the Eames/Mission/Arts & Craft/Shaker style. This piece is both adjustable and portable - it folds nearly flat for easy transport. It serves as a display for a heavy coffee-table book, and is light enough to use on a kitchen counter to keep a cookbook open while following a recipe, or to host a meeting where access to notes are involved, or for use with a laptop or tablet. The ledge support for books is also foldable, all joints have well functioning brass hinges.
