A striking circa 1952–1954 Hull Art Pottery Woodland W-18 vase, finished in a vibrant high-gloss palette of chartreuse, blush pink and cream.
The tall sculptural form features a dramatically flared, calla lily-inspired rim, organic branch-form double handles, molded foliate detailing and a raised pink blossom against the softly graduated body. A broad petal-shaped pink foot completes the composition.
The Woodland collection was introduced by Hull in 1949, with these colorful high-gloss combinations appearing in the later years of production.
A particularly decorative example of mid-century American art pottery, combining Hull's characteristic botanical ornament with a fresh, almost tropical palette.
