An authentic 1972 exhibition lithograph produced by Arte (Paris) for the 'Hommage de Paris à Kandinsky' retrospective at the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris (June 7–July 30, 1972). This rare collector's piece features Kandinsky’s 1939 work Complexe Simple with an integrated authorized signature.
Provenance & Framing:
• Frame: Original 1972 custom white-painted wood gallery frame.
• Verso Documentation: Features a crisp October 24, 1972 date stamp and the original dealer label from Jacobson Picture Frame Co. (Pittsburgh, PA).
• Hardware: Sturdy, original intact hanging wire.
Condition Report:
• Lithograph: Natural vintage aging with light horizontal paper cockling. Entirely free of foxing, water damage, or stains.
• Frame & Backing: White wood shows minor edge wear and light surface scuffs. Reverse features age-toned, intact kraft backing paper with fully legible stamps and labels.
