The substantial root structure has been shaped and polished while retaining its natural irregularities, creating a piece that functions equally well as furniture or organic sculpture. Its warm honey and deep brown tones are highlighted by a glossy finish that emphasizes the grain and character of the wood.

At approximately 34 inches tall and 24 inches at its widest point, this is an unusually substantial root-wood piece with significant visual presence. It can be used as a pedestal, accent table, plant or sculpture stand, entryway statement piece, or standalone decorative object.

The piece is constructed from an extremely dense and heavy solid root. Exact wood species and maker are unknown. The wood has the appearance of a tropical/exotic hardwood, but the species has not been independently verified.
