Vintage; Bernard Rice's & Sons, Apollo, Silver-plated Art Deco-Style, covered vegetable or tureen, which features a stylized design motif geometric fluting and a tiered slotted lidded top with w center knob handle. along the surround of the body are these recessed linear details that the lid and body have, end on these 3 inverted or upside down triangle-shapes, small but the details add to the overall effect. The only thing we think there must have been or there are capabilities for a inner glass liner in which it sits within, while lid is placed on top and keeps food warm, but vents it so food doesn't get mushy, think vegetables or the like mashed potatoes, etc.. 8.25" Dia. Glass interior
