Stunning Chippendale-style mahogany drop-leaf table by Baker Furniture, part of the Historic Charleston Collection.
This table features a beautiful book-matched serpentine-contoured top flanked by two serpentine edge drop leaves. The apron has masterfully carved open fretwork, mirroring classic 18th-century English designs and the straight fluted legs are united by a distinctive cutout "butterfly" stretcher base. This versatile piece functions wonderfully as a lamp table, compact side table, or an elegant accent piece. Retains authentic maker’s badges and tags underneath.
