Crafted of maple solids and veneers, the chest features a rich red painted finish with scrolling gilt floral and foliate decoration, shaped drawer fronts, ornate brass-tone bail pulls, and bun feet. The hand-decorated appearance and intentionally aged finish give the piece wonderful Old World character. Original Century brass maker’s plaque and manufacturer label remain present. See less
